Clinical and Medical Case Reports
A medical case report is a complete account of a patient's symptoms, signs, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Case reports typically describe a unique or unexpected occurrence, and as a result, they remain one of the bedrocks of medical advancement, generating a slew of new medical ideas. A patient with uncommon or unexpected traits is described in case reports. They are the most ancient form of medical publication. It is not about confirming a hypothesis, but rather inventing a new one. As a result, despite being the lowest level of proof, they are nonetheless useful in clinical practice, research, and medical education.
