Dr Barbara De Filippis got her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Chieti (Italy) and is currently an Assistant Professor in Medicinal Chemistry. Her research work is focused on the design and synthesis of small molecules with anticancer, antimicrobial and antioxidant activities. Her studies are related on derivatives of natural phenols, as resveratrol. She is author/co-author of many international papers and guest editor and reviewer for many journals.
